Zonta Club of Kankakee invites you to “A Community Conversation on Human Trafficking”.  This is in partnership with Clove Alliance, Harbor House, Manteno Police Department, and St. Mary’s Hospital.  Register here.

Join the Zonta Club of Kankakee for a virtual roundtable discussion focused on understanding human trafficking and how it impacts our communities. This conversation will bring together professionals from advocacy, healthcare, and law enforcement to share insights, answer common questions, and discuss how individuals and organizations can better recognize and respond to trafficking. Featured panelists include Jayden Anderson-Baker, CDVP, Development Director at Harbor House; Ashley, Director of Community Engagement at Clove Alliance; Detective Sean Prophet; and Brook Coutant, RN. The discussion will be moderated by Janice Krizik-Schmidt, Zonta Club of Kankakee Board Director and Advocacy Committee member. This session is designed to provide practical, surface-level information for community members, advocates, and service providers who want to better understand the realities of human trafficking and the role we all play in prevention and response.
