Clove Alliance’s New Strategic Plan: Commitment in Action

At Clove Alliance, we’ve been confronting sexual violence and supporting survivors for more than 35 years. We are thrilled to unveil our new strategic plan for the next two; a blueprint that charts our course with clarity, purpose, and determination. The main milestones on this journey are to strengthen our team, spread our reach further, and better serve communities that are often overlooked. Read on to learn more about the plan and we hope you’ll cheer us along the way.

Goal 1: Strengthen Workforce and Employee Retention

Our team makes hope and healing happen every day. Our first goal recognizes the vital nature of the services provided by our staff and moves to better support and retain amazing talent. We have outlined several strategies to empower our team and foster a culture of belonging and growth.

We will provide employees with loyalty increases when feasible, ensuring that compensation remains competitive within our budgetary constraints. We are also committed to cultivating a thriving workplace culture through initiatives such as our Culture Club and monthly incentive programs for goal achievement. To prioritize diversity and inclusion, we will establish DEI committees and develop recruitment plans that reflect our communities. Continuous leadership growth and advancement opportunities, including paid professional development programs and 180-degree evaluations, will further empower our team members to excel in their roles.

Goal 2: Enhance Community Outreach and Visibility

Our second goal focuses on amplifying our outreach efforts and making sure we are well-known within the communities we serve. Strengthening community engagement and building partnerships with peer organizations are key strategies in this endeavor. We will be establishing a Community Outreach Committee and collaborative initiatives to create meaningful connections and expand our reach.

Our marketing efforts will also help spread our message and connect with diverse audiences. We will optimize our website, and work to improve our social media presence and newsletter engagement so we can better connect with survivors as well as those looking to support them. By leveraging these communication pathways, our voice can resonate far and wide.

Goal 3: Optimize Services for Underserved Communities

Our final goal underscores our commitment to inclusivity and accessibility. People with disabilities and folks living in rural areas are underserved in many ways, including a lack of support in preventing and responding to sexual violence. We’re working to change that and these groups are centered in our strategic plan.

Through targeted outreach efforts and collaboration with stakeholders, we will ensure that individuals with disabilities and their providers have access to essential resources and support networks. By establishing satellite offices and implementing data collection processes, we will track our impact and adapt our services to meet the unique needs of rural communities.
