VISITING OUR OFFICE
Welcome to Clove Alliance
Coming forward about a traumatic experience can be difficult. Clove Alliance is here to give you and your loved ones compassionate support and confidential services in the aftermath of sexual violence. We aim to create a safe and welcoming environment where you can heal, feel hope, and move forward.
This page will give you an idea of what it is like to visit our main office and work with our staff.
What to Expect From Our Team
Everything you share with us is strictly confidential. We will never disclose your personal information or tell anyone you are a client. Our staff is trained to provide empathetic and non-judgmental support. We believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity.
What to Expect When You Arrive at Our Kankakee Office
Our main office is located at 1440 West Court Street, Kankakee, IL. We have a large parking lot with accessible parking on the west end of the building by the ramp. There is also a River Valley Metro bus stop in front of the building.
Please enter through the doors by the stairs on the northeast corner of the building on Court Street. Ring the buzzer to the right of the doors (black box with silver border), and our staff will let you in. Please listen for a “buzz” when the door has been released. Nearby traffic can be loud, so please ring again if you can’t hear it.
Once inside, check in with our front desk staff. They will contact your counselor, advocate, or other staff member you are visiting. You can relax in our waiting room until they are ready for you.
Our counseling and advocacy offices are on our upper level (stairs). If you need accommodations, please let us know!
Our main conference room is on the first level, which has an accessible and gender-neutral bathroom.
Our lower level houses our lounge, which we use for community meetings and support groups. There are stairs to the lower level. Please let our team know if you need accommodations.
