Inspiring Change: 2024 Impact Report
Clove Alliance served survivors and our greater community in many inspiring ways over the past fiscal year. Our 2024 Impact Report underscores some of our most noteworthy news, cheers our amazing volunteers and staff, breaks down our impact in numbers, covers our finances, and invites you to get involved in our mission to end sexual violence.
Parts of the report are shared below and we encourage you to view all the details in the full report here, or at the bottom of this post.
2024 Highlights
Commitment in Action
At the start of 2024, we launched our new strategic plan. It is a blueprint that charts our course through 2026 with clarity, purpose, and determination. The main milestones on this journey are to strengthen our team, spread our reach further, and better serve communities that are often overlooked. Read about each goal, the objectives, and the activities planned for each here in the fully detailed plan.
Making Voices Heard
$20 million in much-needed funding for sexual assault crisis services was won in this year’s IL state budget. Staff visited our capital, talked with legislators about the importance of our services, and spoke at rallies to motivate action. Our efforts were successful and we thank everyone who contacted their lawmakers (maybe that’s you!) because securing these funds was critical to supporting survivors in our area and throughout the state. You can learn more about the need for funds here.
Welcome, Buckeye!
We’re excited to have certified therapy dog, Buckeye, on board as a comfort to survivors seeking help. He is a friendly, well-trained Goldendoodle who thrives on offering emotional support. His presence can aid in creating a safe and calming environment, making it easier for survivors to open up. Buckeye is a great complement to our advocacy and counseling services. You may even see him at community events—make sure to say hi! Learn about our furry teammate here.
