Calling local artists! Clove Alliance is putting on our 7th Annual Brave, Bold, and Believed Art Show to celebrate and honor the journey of survivors and efforts to end sexual violence.

We want you to participate! Artists may submit up to two works, which can be two or three-dimensional. $100 Visa Gift Card prizes will be awarded to First Place winners in each division: Student Division (5th-12th grade), Adult Division (18 years of age or older), and People’s Choice. Artists may enter the show under their name, a pseudonym, or anonymously as indicated on their entry form. 

Works must be submitted, with a fully completed entry form and entry tag for each (found on the final page of the packet), on March 1st or 2nd from 9:00 AM- 7:00 PM unless other arrangements are made.

An Exhibition Opening will be held on April 1st, 2027, and will feature works by local artists (you!), live music, a children’s art project, refreshments, and awards. The exhibit will be displayed through May 1, 2027 and visitors will vote for a People’s Choice Award. The winner will be announced on Clove Alliance’s social media on May 12th.

Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony: Thursday, April 1st, 4:30 – 6:30 PM at the Kankakee County Museum (801 S 8th Avenue, Kankakee)

Exhibition on Display: Thursday, April 1st to Saturday, May 1st

People’s Choice Winner Announced: Wednesday, May 12th on Clove Alliance’s social media pages 

Pick Up Work: Monday, May 17th from 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM at the Kankakee Clove office
